Om Sri Gurubhyo Namah
On the 27th of September, the Ārādhana Pūjā of Sri Chithānandhar will be held at Alwarpet. We had already shared the announcement about this earlier, and the arrangements for this Pūjā are progressing well.
Further, this year marks the Centenary Year of Sri Guru Champakāmbikā, celebrated as Satābdi Champakā. To commence this auspicious year, on Chitra Pournami, with the grace of Guru, on the first day a grand Khadgamālā Pratyaksha Pūjā was performed, followed the next day by a majestic Sahasra Suvasini Pūjā. Likewise, the Jayanthi day of Sri Champakāmbikā falls on Monday, the 6th of October this year.
The connection between Kanchipuram and Sri Champakāmbikā is well known to those familiar with her. Even people who do not know her, when shown her photograph, have said: “I saw this Mother in the Kanchipuram Kāmākshi Temple just last week.” Such divine experiences are many. To us, Guru Champakāmbikā is none other than Kanchipuram Kāmākshi herself.
To celebrate her Jayanthi Mahotsava grandly this year, it has been decided to conduct Sri Champakāmbikā Shata Nāma Pratyaksha Suvasini Pūjā — that is, Navāvaraṇa Pūjā along with worship of 108 Suvasinis, each offered Pūjā in the name of one of her 108 Nāmas. This will be held at Sri Sringeri Sharada Peetham Kalyana Mandapam, Kanchipuram, which we have now booked for this occasion.
We cordially invite all devotees to participate in this Satābdi Champakāmbika celebration and receive the divine blessings of Guru and Devi Lalitha Maha Tripurasundari.
